Written by Leo Sears and Jack Sharkey, “Star on the Door” is a behind-the-scenes comedy about two aging actors about to make their Broadway debut.
Cinema legend Doreen Lewis is nervously about to make her Broadway debut opposite her ardent admirer Paul Burnside! She intercepts a phone call for her dresser (who is secretly wed to Doreen’s son) confirming that “Mrs. Lewis” is pregnant… A loony resolution caps this evening of non-stop guffaws!
