DESCRIPTION:Tuesday, October 13\n6-7pm\n\nWant to say you helped shape a theater season without lifting a hammer or memorizing a monologue? Join us for a casual, FREE play reading Tuesday, October 13 at 6pm inside Kress Theater!\n\nWhat’s a play reading?\nA CPP play reading is a live event where actors (and volunteers, if you’re interested) read a script excerpt aloud without memorization, sets, or costumes. We use readings to hear the dialogue spoken aloud to preview a play before choosing a full season. Play readings are a great way to interact with the theatrical process; plus, they’re free!\n\n\nWe’ll read 2-3 play excerpts together, you’ll share your thoughts, and together we’ll figure out what’s stage-worthy. Think book club energy, but with actors. It’s fun, informal, and helps us decide which plays make the cut for next season!\n\n\nNo RSVP needed – just come!  Light snacks provided. BYO strong opinions.\n
